Red River Rv Park is a perfect spot to unwind, Relax and enjoy peace and quiet under the stars! Located in a wooded area on the parish line between Rapides and Avoyelles Parish, both Parishes are rich in culture, history, and attractions. We know you'll love your stay in our quiet corner of Louisiana. We offer ten spots to choose from, spots 2-10 are a minimal of 20 feet wide by 50 feet long with a generous buffer between each spot. #1 is still 20 feet wide by 45 feet long. Spots 1-4 back up to woods ,spots 5-10 back up to pond. we've just added a golf cart/walking trail which takes you into the woods alongside a canal. We are proud to say Veteran and Family owned and operated.

Amenities

Red River Valley RV Park offers secluded and spacious RV sites that will help you enjoy the peace and beauty that nature can bring. The RV Sites come with full hook-ups so 30 and 50 amp plug in with additional 110 outlet, water and sewer connection ,unlimited 4G internet and stone fire ring with  plenty of room for family gatherings, private picnics, or stargazing. Newly added is a serene walking path which takes you into the woods  alongside a canal.  Let your troubles melt away while taking in the tall trees and fresh air. Golf carts are also welcome on the path. 

The best part of all of this? While you'll feel like you're far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you are still close enough to Alexandria for spur-of-the-moment grocery runs or day trips to town. You can have the forest and leave it too!

Things to Do in Alexandria, LA

Alexandria and Pineville, two cities split by the Red River, offer a variety of attractions, including Civil War museum walkthroughs, historic house tours, and the Gone Wild Safari in Tioga, LA. The best museums in town would be the Louisiana Maneuvers and Military Museum, the Kent Plantation House, and the Louisiana Museum of Art.

Explore Avoyelles Parish

If you want a more natural trip, you can explore beautiful Avoyelles Parish, a place with rich history, delicious food, and exciting attractions. Set sail on a boat tour at the beautiful Spring Bayou Area, go on a nature walk through the Grand Cote National Wildlife Refuge, or go fishing at Red River.

Local Shopping

Hwy. 107 offers several brand new Dollar General stores for picking up any last minute items... most of which have plenty of refrigerated items and some even offer fresh fruits and veggies for your convenience as well as propane bottles.

For adult beverages there are two locations nearby, both on Hwy 107. Southbound Spirits is located on Hwy 107 as you are leaving Pineville and heading towards Red River Valley RV Park. They are a full service liquor store and have amazing Daiquiris.

Sunrise Grocery and Liquor Store offers a full selection of snacks, fishing items, gas and liquor along with propane bottles and complimentary air for tires.
